Dave Brewer Inc. to Start Construction of Luxury Model Home, Spec at Heathrow Country Estates in Lake County, Aims At Empty Nester Adults With Creative New Design Style Sanford, Fla. – Dave Brewer, Inc., one of Central Florida’s largest and most active builders of luxury custom homes priced at $1 million or more, will start construction in January of one luxury model home and one available custom home at Heathrow Country Estates off CR 46A and SR 46 in Lake County. Gary Rauch, vice president of Dave Brewer, Inc., said the luxury model will offer more than 5,300 square feet of living space priced at $1.6 million. The available custom home, which will offer more than 6,000 square feet of living space, is a two-story design, priced under $2 million. Rauch said the luxury model home will offer some brand new design concepts aimed at “empty nesters” – adults whose children are old enough to have left home. “ Our studies show that the market of empty nesters is much larger than we suspected and their tastes are changing,” said Rauch. Conceptually, the model home will focus on flexibility. “ The home will have three bedrooms and a guest lounge that is designed differently from a typical family room,” Rauch said. There is no formal living room, but there is a spacious dining room for family events, guests or entertaining. A “flexroom” can be easily converted to a second bedroom, an office or other uses, according to Rauch. The home will come with a three car garage and golf room, and it can easily be transformed into a more traditional family home by adding a second story,” Rauch said.
