| BUYERS OF MILLION-DOLLAR LUXURY HOMES WANT DESIGNER FURNISHINGS, TOO - May 3, 2003 | ||

Sanford, Fla. --- Dave Brewer will start construction of a new luxury model home at Alaqua Lakes in May. Fully furnished and decorated, it will be priced at more than $1 million, said Gary Rauch, chief operating officer at the custom homebuilding company. Rauch said the luxury home will probably sell fully-furnished and decorated: luxury home buyers today usually prefer their new accommodations professionally decorated. "A luxury home can take months and several thousand dollars to furnish and decorate in the kind of style it deserves," said Rauch. "Most home owners would prefer to have professional assistance, and of course we work with highly experienced designers from the conceptual stages of a custom home," he added. Rauch said Dave Brewer recently sold a fully-furnished and decorated ready-to-move-in spec home at Alaqua Lakes for more than $1.4 million. The company has another luxury home under construction now. "The Tuscany at The Enclave in Alaqua Lakes, will offer nearly 9,000 square feet of living space and will be priced around $1.7 million when it opens in early 2004," Rauch said.
