REMODELING DIVISION AT DAVE BREWER INC. SEES BIG INCREASE IN LUXURY HOME REMODELING PROJECTS

SANFORD, Fla. - Dave Brewer Constructors, the remodeling division of Dave Brewer, Inc., which ranks as one of the region’s most active builders of luxury homes priced at more than $1 million, is seeing a big increase in luxury home remodeling projects this year.

Matt Trask, vice president at Dave Brewer, Inc., said the firm’s remodeling division currently has six projects underway.  One project — the addition of a 2,000 square foot second story to a luxury home in Lake Mary — is valued at more than $450,000.

“With the housing slowdown, many owners of luxury homes have opted to remodel or expand their existing home rather than try to sell it to buy another home,” Trask said.
