SANFORD, Fla. --- Dave Brewer Inc., which ranks as one of Central Florida's most active builders of luxury custom homes priced at more than $1 million, reports it has four luxury homes in the design stage, including one in Volusia County. Gary Rauch, vice president of Dave Brewer, Inc. said the home builder is designing a $1.4 million Mediterranean-style luxury home in Volusia County with 5,000 square feet of space and a 6,000 square foot Spanish Moroccan-style luxury home at Loch Leven in Mount Dora valued at $1.6 million. Rauch said the home builder is also planning two luxury homes at Alaqua Lakes in Seminole County, including a two-story, 8,500 square foot Mediterranean-style home valued at $2.1 million and another home with 6,000 square feet valued at $1.6 million. "Typically the luxury home market is the least affected by recessionary trends and the first housing sector to rebound," said Rauch.
